John Lasseter was born on 12 January 1957 in Hollywood, California to Paul Eual Lasseter and Jewell Mae. His father was a manager at Chevrolet company, while his mother taught art. John was born as a twin with his sister, Johanna Lasseter-Curtis, who is 6 minutes older than him. He was raised in Whittier city of Southern California.
