Grant winning specialists, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido and others have won big at the 2022 Headies Awards.

The fifteenth yearly Headies Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta On Sunday, September fourth. This marked whenever the show first was been held beyond Nigeria.

Wizkid and Tems were the top victors of the night as their global crush “Substance”, which was as of late proclaimed the best tune in music history by American rapper, Kanye West, won the melody of the year and best R&B single.

The vocalists likewise won a singular honor. Wizkid win the collection of the year for Made In Lagos, while Tems won Best Female Artiste and best R&B collection for If Orange Was a Place.

Burna Boy wins the Best Male Artiste and African Artiste of the Year grants.

Davido won The Digital honor of the year and the Humanitarian honor of the year.

Buju BNXN won the 2022 Headies Next Rated grant. His honor accompanied a 2022 ultra-extravagance Bentley Bantayaga SUV assessed at over N300 million.

The Headies is the top Nigerian/Pan African entertainment pageant, commending the best in Afrobeats, African music and culture. The honors, initially called the Hip Hop World Awards, were laid out in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to perceive exceptional accomplishments in the Nigerian music industry.
