New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS) Only days after the exit of eight Congress MLAs in Goa, veteran Congress pioneer and old hand in Kashmir undertakings Karan Singh has grumbled of being sidelined with no correspondence from the party.

The objection comes as the party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is advancing. It will come full circle in Kashmir, where Karan Singh’s dad Hari Singh was the past ruler prior to agreeing to India.

He communicated his mistake at not being welcome to join the Bharat Jodo Yatra, saying it appears to be that the party doesn’t require him any longer.

Singh said: “I have not been welcomed for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. For certain years, I feel isolated from the party. Neither I am in any council of the party nor hosts the get-together counseled me for certain years. A break hosts created between the get-together and me. I have been in the party for what seems like forever, yet it appears to be that they don’t require me any longer.”

He added: “I have seen a great deal in this world, so it doesn’t hurt me any longer. I have numerous things through the Congress. In any case, a period comes when individuals around you feel that there is compelling reason need. There is no contact, no one asks me anything.”

Not just Karan Singh who is indicating that he is annoyed with the party, there is an interminable rundown of the people who have headed out in different directions from the Congress including Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kapil Sibal, Ashwani Kumar, both previous bureau priests, and supporters like Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jitin Prasada and RPN Singh. The Congress is keeping up with that it won’t be stopped by the BJP or it’s representatives; the yatra is getting an enormous reaction and it will reinforce the party.

The Congress sent off the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on September 7. Rahul Gandhi is driving the yatra that will cover more than 3,750 km through 12 states and arrive at its objective in Kashmir in 150 days.
